Keto Doritos

Ok...these are NOT real Doritos, but they’re kinda fun. These little cheese “crisps” are super easy and totally satisfy that cheesy spicy thing I need to have in my life.

Equipment

  • Parchment paper

Ingredients

  • 6 slices cheddar jack cheese thin sliced
  • 1 Jalapeño sliced in rounds
  • 1 tsp taco seasoning

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350* and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Cut each slice of your thin sliced cheese into 4 triangles. Lay out each triangle on the parchment paper.
  • Sprinkle the taco seasoning over each of the cheese triangles. Then place a single slice of jalapeno on each cheese triangle.
  • Bake for 5 minutes then check on them. You may need to turn the baking sheet to get your triangles to evenly bake and bubble. Bake for another 2-4 minutes while watching them.
  • You may even want to turn your oven to broil for 30 seconds to a minute. Again, you must watch them at the end until they are at the desired doneness.
  • Remove the baking sheet from the oven and set aside to cool. Using a spatula transfer your Keto Doritos to a paper towel lined plate. Enjoy these crispy/chewy spicy delights.

Notes

Note...you can pretty much use any thin sliced cheese. Pepper Jack would also be a great option.
