These Keto Courses are, by far, my most trusted resource.  Maria and Craig Emmerich have been practicing and teaching Keto, Low Carb and Carnivore for over 15 years. Maria and Craig are keynote speakers and a trusted authority on all ketogenic dietary advice.

For a very small investment in any of these Keto courses I always felt like I got all the guidance, meal plans and support I needed.

I’ve been researching and studying and experimenting with a Ketogenic and low carb lifestyle for over 3 years.  I have found time and time again that the most success in this WOE (way of eating) and sustained weight loss comes when you invest the time and energy into learning what works best for YOU. 

You don’t have to spend money to learn Keto and Low Carb, but you do need to invest your TIME with the right resources.  It does help to invest in the correct information…so with that said some of these resources have a free version and then past a certain point you must pay a small fee   If you want to start a Ketogenic Lifestyle

Everyone is different in this journey.  Some people just need to be pointed in the right direction. Others need some periodic coaching through the different stages you will reach in your Keto journey.  And lastly, some people absolutely need to have their hand held throughout the experience.

Maria Emmerich created a website and blog to showcase her keto and carnivore recipes and tips.She offers up coaching sessions and all her books and e-books for sale. (free or paid subscription to videos, guidelines, meal plans and recipes)

A global collection of trusted Medical professionals and experts that share video, recipes, meal plans and guides.  A portion of this site and courses are free, but (free resources and Medically supervised weight loss using a low carb/keto protocol)

Medical doctor Dr. Tro Kalayjian was that FAT doctor giving out bad advice…until he woke up and changed his whole life and medical practice with a Low Carb/Keto lifestyle.  Dr. Tro running a medically supervised weight loss clinic.

His clinic is based out of New York, but he is available for online consultations and support. This is a medically supervised program that you may be able to submit for reimbursement from your insurance company.

LowCarbMD Podcast

This Podcast is hosted and run by 4 experts in the field of Fasting and a Low Carb Lifestyle. Dr. Brain Lenzkes, Dr. Tro Kalayjian, Dr. Jason Fung and Megan Ramos.  This is a free weekly podcast dedicated to educating the medical profession and lay people about all things low carb and fasting.

Even though I do not count macros, I really like their Macro Calculator. also has a great Keto Academy that is a paid resource and seems to be reliable. 

However, I have never seen a face or person behind this brand or courses. While I do like their information, I like to be able to put a name with a face.  This is a Do-It-Yourself program that has seen much traffic and success. (free resources & Medically supervised treatment of Type 2 Diabetes using a low carb/keto protocol) 

Led by Dr. Stephen Finney, Vitra Health is a go-to source for treating and reversing Type 2 Diabetes.  This is a medically supervised program and courses that you may be able to submit for reimbursement from your insurance company. (free resources from Ted Naiman, MD)

Fasting is another way to increase your weight loss and better your overall health. Dr. Jason Fung is not necessarily the founding father of fasting, but he is THE modern day driving force behind this proven health benefit.

Use these sites to familiarize yourself with the keto courses and guidelines, foods to include, foods to avoid, and recipes. And remember, the best eating plan is one that you can maintain long term.
