I’m neither hugely for or against the adult film industry, but I have to share a story about my first memory of THE icon of the porn industry. I actually don’t even like to use the term porn in the same sentence as her name because it just diminishes her value and growth and smarts.

Beautiful and smart from the beginning

Jenna started in the adult film industry as a young and beautiful new star, with a difficult past of losing her mother and then rape and a bunch of drugs along the way. What set Jenna apart from the beginning, despite the hardships AND being gorgeous and real, was that this girl was smart too. I remember turning on the TV to watch an interview with Jenna and some very stern looking men. I was nervous for her.

Sitting across the table from a couple stodgy old men Jenna was able to debate her way through the meeting. Posed and articulate and unbelievably smart as she sat there like David against Goliath. I don’t think anyone expected this from the pint sized beauty, but she rocked their world….with her clothes on.

A sexy body with a head for business

I haven’t even really followed Jenna’s career or life but from a very very far distance. Something would pop up on the news and all I can remember thinking was….I’ve seen what she is capable of. Jenna’s smart, she’ll figure it out.

People make choices in life. I chose to believe that people will go one way and if it’s the wrong way they will correct. Ultimately we should be judged not on our missteps, but rather on how we pick ourselves up and become better for it. Jenna has created an empire in the adult film world….and elsewhere. Regardless if you agree with that industry you HAVE to give her huge props and credit for all that she has been through and all that she has created.

Sober and Self Care

At last account, I believe it’s been about 3 years sober for Jenna. She’s married with a beautiful baby and life. As I started on my Keto journey I was searching for my own inspiration and I stumbled upon Jenna’s instagram page about 6 months into her Keto and self care journey.

Jenna posted this great breakfast she always eats called “The Bomblette”…her take on a Keto Omlette.

Easy Breakfast

Using pre-shredded cheese a few eggs and whatever is in the fridge The Bomblette comes together in minutes. It’s filling and filled with fat, not to mention how delicious it is. Try it!

The Bomblette~Keto Omlete

The Bomblette

Made famous by the awesome Jenna Jameson, this cheese base egg dish is the perfect way to break your fast aka “Breakfast”

Cook Time: 6 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup cheddar cheese Mixed and finely shredded
  • 1 tbsp herbs cilantro, parsley or your choice
  • 1/16 tsp salt
  • 1/16 tsp pepper

Optional Add Ins

  • tomato
  • onion
  • bacon
  • Avocado
  • mushroom
  • Jalapeno Artichoke Spread

Instructions

  • In a non-stick pan over medium to high heat spread the finely shredded cheese right into the pan. 
  • As the cheese is starting to melt in the pan crack two eggs directly on the melting cheese and sprinkle with some herbs. If you are adding the optional items this is the time for you to add them.   
  • Quickly cover with a lid to seal in the steam. The steam heat will cook the top of the eggs.
  • When the eggs are to desired doneness remove the lid.  With a spatula lift the cheese side of the base and fold it over the eggs.
  • Because you have used a non-stick pan the bomblette should slide right on to your plate.
  • Garnish with avocado or other low carb options.

Notes

You can always ad more or less cheese or eggs or additional veg and fats. Adjust your nutritional count accordingly at your own discretion.
